Stanford Optics is a global supplier of precision optics and specialty materials, recognized for consistent quality and technical expertise. Our Square Core Homogeneous Energy Optical Fibers are designed to deliver even energy distribution, a property that makes them especially valuable in demanding laser and biomedical applications.
The Square Core Homogeneous Energy Optical Fiber is engineered to provide a flat, uniform energy profile across its entire core. In contrast to conventional single-mode fibers (SMF), where most of the optical power is concentrated at the center, this fiber maintains an evenly distributed output within its square core. Such a design is advantageous in systems that require a stable, homogeneous beam, reducing hot spots and improving overall performance.

Coating Layer
a) The primary coating is typically made of acrylate, silicone, or silicone rubber.
b) The buffer layer generally consists of a high-performance filling gel (for water resistance).
c) The secondary coating is usually composed of high polymers such as polypropylene or nylon.
Stanford Optics offers flexible customization of core size, numerical aperture, coatings, and connector types. Square-core fibers can also be adapted into specialized fiber-optic devices. Evaluation samples are available for testing before volume orders.
