Stanford Optics supplies advanced optical fibers and materials for research, industrial, and communication applications. The Multicomponent Glass Fiber is made from silica (SiO₂) combined with fluoride and other glass-forming oxides. By adjusting the glass composition, the fiber achieves optical characteristics that are difficult to obtain with single-material designs.
Multi-component glass fibers are valued for their high numerical aperture and good transmission performance. The mixed composition allows for precise control of refractive index profiles, enabling broader design flexibility. Compared with conventional silica-only fibers, these fibers can support more complex optical functions and show improved tolerance to external interference.
Such properties make them a practical choice in telecommunication links, precision sensing, laser delivery, and biomedical imaging, where stable light transmission is critical.
Our products are packaged in customized cartons of various sizes based on the material dimensions. Small items are securely packed in PP boxes, while larger items are placed in custom wooden crates. We ensure strict adherence to packaging customization and the use of appropriate cushioning materials to provide optimal protection during transportation.
Packaging: Carton, Wooden box, Paper barrel, Iron barrel, or customized.
Customized options are available, including different fiber geometries, numerical apertures, and coatings. Evaluation samples can be provided for testing before production orders.
