The GYFY53 optical cable uses high-modulus plastic loose tubes filled with water-blocking gel to cover the fibers. Stranded loose tubes and fillers are bound together with a central non-metallic strength member (FRP). The stranded loose tubes and fillers are gel-filled for secondary protection from moisture, coated with polyethylene inner sheathing, double-sided coated steel tape, and an outer PE sheath. This multi-layer structure provides strength, water resistance, and durability outdoors in the long term.
