Description

The GYXTY53 Central Tube Type 53 Sheath Rat-proof Optical Cable is designed for use outdoors where moisture-proof, mechanical, and rodent protection is required. The cable comprises colored optical fibers positioned in a hydrolysis-resistant, high-modulus loose tube filled with a moisture-excluding gel to provide effective fiber protection.

A steel wire layer covers the core to provide tensile strength and is finished with an extruded polyethylene inner sheath. The inner sheath, with added rodent resistance and mechanical toughness, is longitudinally covered with chrome-plated, plastic-coated steel tape. A polyethylene outer sheath completes the construction with robust environmental protection.

This design supports direct burial, duct, or aerial placement in severe outdoor conditions.
