Central Tube Type Lightweight Armored Optical Cable is a durable and lightweight solution designed for outdoor applications requiring moisture resistance, mechanical strength, and ease of installation. The cable features colored optical fibers housed in a loose tube made of high-modulus, hydrolysis-resistant material. This loose tube is filled with thixotropic water-blocking gel to protect the fibers and enhance water resistance.
A layer of double-sided coated steel tape is longitudinally wrapped around the loose tube, with additional water-blocking gel applied between the steel tape and the tube, ensuring compactness and robust longitudinal water resistance. Two parallel steel wires provide enhanced tensile strength and stability, while a polyethylene sheath is extruded to protect the cable from environmental factors.
Cross-section Diagram
Engineered to perform effectively under varying mechanical stresses and temperature conditions.
Loose tube material resists hydrolysis and provides excellent pressure resistance.
Filled with special grease inside the loose tube, safeguarding fibers from environmental factors and mechanical stress.
Double-sided coated steel tape prevents moisture penetration.
Two parallel steel wires provide exceptional tensile performance, ensuring cable stability during installation and operation.
Small diameter and lightweight construction allow for easy handling and installation, even in tight spaces or over long distances.
GYXS/GYXTW optical cable is a versatile optical cable suitable for duct and aerial installations, high-moisture environments, and backbone networks. Its lightweight and durable design make it an excellent choice for both urban and rural outdoor applications, ensuring reliable performance in a variety of conditions.
Ideal for deployment in ducts, with its lightweight design allowing for easy handling and long-distance pulling during installation.
Suitable for aerial deployments with appropriate support measures, providing stability in areas exposed to wind and other weather conditions.
The water-blocking gel and steel tape offer excellent protection against moisture ingress, making it suitable for regions with heavy rainfall or high humidity.
Commonly used in backbone networks for long-distance transmission due to its high mechanical strength and reliable performance.
Perfect for suburban and rural communication infrastructure, where lightweight cables are essential for ease of installation and reduced logistical challenges.
Performs well in industrial environments, providing resistance to physical stress and environmental hazards.
Designed for regions where mechanical stress is relatively low, such as stable terrains or areas without heavy machinery.
The small diameter and lightweight design make it ideal for confined or hard-to-access installation spaces.
