Description

The GYXS/GYXTW fiber optic cable is used in outdoor environments where moisture resistance, mechanical strength, and ease of installation are required. The colored optical fibers are housed in high-modulus, hydrolysis-resistant loose tubes with thixotropic water-blocking gel, which provides moisture and mechanical stress protection.

A double-sided coated longitudinally wrapped steel tape, with water-blocking gel between the tape and the tubes, provides enhanced compactness and longitudinal water resistance. Two parallel steel wires provide tensile strength and stability, and an outer polyethylene sheath gives environmental protection to the cable.
