GYFTA optical cable is a high-performance solution tailored for reliable and efficient communication in diverse environments. Its construction features colored optical fibers housed in a loose tube made from high-modulus material, providing excellent mechanical strength and hydrolysis resistance. The tube is filled with thixotropic gel, ensuring effective water-blocking and fiber protection.
At the core of the cable lies a glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) strength member, offering exceptional durability and structural integrity. The loose tube and filler ropes are stranded around the central core, forming a compact, circular cable structure. The interstices within the cable core are filled with additional thixotropic gel, creating a double-layer water-blocking system.
An aluminum tape is longitudinally coated around the cable core for added shielding, followed by a robust polyethylene sheath that enhances the cable’s durability and resistance to environmental factors.
Cross-section Diagram
Ideal for areas with high humidity, such as coastal regions, rainforests, or areas with heavy rainfall. Its water-blocking gel and hydrolysis-resistant materials provide excellent waterproof performance.
The non-metallic central reinforcement makes it perfect for areas with strong electromagnetic interference, such as power plants or near high-voltage transmission lines.
Enhanced tensile strength and UV-resistant outer sheath make it an excellent choice for aerial applications, capable of withstanding wind pressure and tension.
Its compact and lightweight structure allows for easy installation in narrow conduits, while its water-blocking capabilities effectively protect against underground moisture.
Exceptional temperature characteristics and mechanical performance ensure reliable operation in cold, high-temperature, or environments with frequent temperature fluctuations.
With outstanding optical performance and low attenuation, it is well-suited for long-distance communication links, such as intercity, rural, or remote area backbone networks.
The non-metallic structure enhances resilience under extreme vibrations caused by earthquakes, reducing the likelihood of damage.
Suitable for backbone networks in smart city infrastructure, including traffic monitoring, smart streetlights, and public Wi-Fi networks.
