Description

GYTZA53 optical cable is engineered to deliver high performance and reliability in demanding outdoor environments. Colored optical fibers are securely placed in a loose tube made of high-modulus material, offering superior hydrolysis resistance and mechanical strength. The tube is filled with thixotropic gel, providing critical water-blocking and sealing protection to the optical fibers.

At the core of the cable is a metal strength member, enhancing tensile strength and ensuring structural stability. The loose tubes and filler ropes are stranded around this central strength member, forming a compact circular cable core, with the interstices filled with water-blocking gel to prevent moisture ingress.

The cable's construction includes a coated aluminum tape, longitudinally wrapped and encased in a polyethylene inner sheath for added protection. A double-sided coated steel tape armor layer provides enhanced mechanical robustness and forms a flame-retardant outer protective layer, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.

Feature

Cross-section Diagram

Constructed from high-modulus material, the loose tube provides superior resistance to hydrolysis and high mechanical strength, ensuring long-lasting protection for the optical fibers.

The loose tube is filled with thixotropic gel, offering essential sealing and water-blocking protection to shield the optical fibers from environmental moisture and damage.

The outer sheath is made from a special flame-retardant material that meets stringent fire safety standards, ensuring reliable performance in fire-sensitive environments.

A single metal core enhances the cable’s tensile strength and structural stability, making it suitable for installations requiring robust support.

Designed to deliver reliable performance under mechanical stress and across a wide range of temperature conditions, ensuring adaptability to diverse environments.

The longitudinally wrapped aluminum tape provides an effective moisture barrier, enhancing the cable’s resistance to environmental humidity and wet conditions.

The cable is further protected by double-sided coated steel tape, which enhances resistance to moisture ingress and mechanical impacts, ensuring long-term durability even in challenging outdoor conditions.

Application Scenario

Ideal for backbone and distribution networks in cities where fire safety compliance and reliable performance are crucial.

Suitable for deployment in industrial zones, chemical plants, and other areas with potential fire hazards due to its flame-retardant outer sheath.

Perfect for underground ducts or tunnels where moisture resistance and robust mechanical properties are necessary to prevent cable degradation.

Designed for confined spaces such as tunnels and subways, providing flame retardancy and high tensile strength for secure and safe operation.

The water-blocking gel and aluminum tape layer make it ideal for installations in coastal areas, regions with high rainfall, or other moisture-prone settings.

The cable’s reinforced structure and excellent tensile strength make it suitable for aerial installations where mechanical stress and UV resistance are key.

Essential for reliable communication in smart city networks, transportation hubs, and public infrastructure where safety and long-term durability are priorities.

Effective for long-distance installations in remote or rural locations, providing durable and reliable performance in harsh outdoor conditions.
