Description

GYDTA optical cable is designed for reliable performance in demanding environments. It incorporates 4, 6, 8, or 12-core fiber ribbons housed in a loose tube made of high-modulus material, ensuring excellent mechanical strength and resistance to hydrolysis. The tube is filled with thixotropic water-blocking gel, providing critical moisture resistance and sealing protection for the optical fibers.

A metal strength member at the core enhances tensile strength and structural stability. The loose tubes and filling ropes are helically stranded around the central strength member, forming a compact circular cable core. The interstices are filled with water-blocking gel, ensuring robust protection against moisture ingress.

The cable core is further reinforced with longitudinally wrapped coated aluminum tape, and a durable polyethylene sheath is extruded over the assembly, providing additional environmental protection and durability.

Feature

Cross-section Diagram

The loose tube is made from high-modulus material, offering exceptional resistance to hydrolysis and high mechanical strength, ensuring long-lasting performance in harsh environments.

The tube is filled with thixotropic gel, providing vital sealing and water-blocking protection to safeguard the optical fibers from moisture and environmental hazards.

Constructed with a special flame-retardant material, the outer sheath ensures superior fire resistance and compliance with stringent safety standards.

Features a single non-metallic FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) core that enhances tensile strength and structural integrity while avoiding electromagnetic interference.

Designed to accommodate 2, 6, 8, or 12-core fiber ribbons, offering versatile application scenarios to meet varying network demands.

The cable is engineered to withstand mechanical stresses and perform reliably across a wide range of temperatures, ensuring adaptability in diverse conditions.

Longitudinally wrapped coated aluminum tape enhances moisture resistance, protecting the cable core in wet or humid environments.

Application Scenario

Ideal for backbone networks and long-haul communication systems where multiple fiber ribbon cores ensure high-capacity data transmission.

Suitable for metro and suburban networks requiring compact, lightweight cables that are easy to install in conduits or direct burial applications.

Perfect for fiber-to-the-x (FTTx) deployments in residential or commercial areas, offering efficient connectivity with its multi-core ribbon design.

Its flexible construction allows for easy installation in underground ducts, minimizing the need for heavy-duty cable pulling equipment.

The fiber ribbon design is ideal for high-density connections in data centers, telecommunication hubs, or urban backbone networks.

Supports smart city initiatives, including traffic monitoring, intelligent lighting, and public Wi-Fi, with reliable and efficient connectivity.

With its water-blocking gel and robust construction, it performs well in moisture-prone or coastal regions.

Lightweight and non-armored, this cable is easy to transport and install, making it suitable for temporary networks or emergency response systems.
