Cat 6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) Cable Description

Cat 6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) supports data transmission speeds up to 1000Mbps and bandwidth up to 350MHz, making it ideal for high-performance applications involving digital, voice, video, and data signals, especially in E-level links and Category 6 environments. It features enhanced shielding with a unique longitudinal adhesive wrapping process, delivering superior electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection compared to similar products. The cable structure is reinforced by tight insulation-to-conductor bonding (>45N/50mm), 100% back-twisting, and high-quality polyester tape wrapping. Grounding is ensured with 0.5mm tinned copper wire, and multiple jacket color options offer easy identification. Gradient printing on the sheath allows installers to visually track remaining cable length during deployment.

FAQ
Q1: What is a Cat 6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) Cable?

A1: It is a high-performance Ethernet cable with shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, supporting speeds up to 1 Gbps and bandwidth up to 350 MHz.

Q2: What is the difference between STP and UTP cables?

A2: STP cables have shielding (foil or braid) to block external interference, while UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cables do not.

Q3: Where is Cat 6 STP Cable typically used?

A3: In environments with high EMI, such as data centers, hospitals, industrial settings, and areas near electrical equipment.
