LGS Pockels Cell is a practical electro-optic device that can be used in medium output energy lasers to partially take the place of DKDP and LiNbO3 series Q-switches. Stanford Optics has rich experience in manufacturing and supplying high-quality Optical Products.
LGS (Lithium Germanium Sulfide) Pockels Cells are advanced electro-optic devices tailored for medium-output energy laser applications. They serve as effective substitutes for DKDP (Deuterated Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate) and LiNbO₃ (Lithium Niobate) Q-switches, offering enhanced performance and reliability. LGS crystals belong to the class of optically active nonlinear optical (NLO) materials, boasting an exceptionally high damage threshold—approximately nine times greater than that of LiNbO₃. Additionally, they exhibit an excellent electro-optic (E-O) coefficient and superior thermal stability, outperforming materials like quartz.
Our LGS Pockels Cells are meticulously handled during both storage and transportation to ensure their pristine condition upon delivery. We implement stringent packaging protocols to preserve the quality and performance of each unit, safeguarding them against environmental factors and physical damage. This careful handling guarantees that our products reach you in optimal condition, ready for immediate integration into your laser systems.
