Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Cat 5e UTP Cable Description
The LSZH Cat 5e UTP cable supports transmission speeds up to 1000 Mbps and bandwidth up to 150 MHz. It is designed for digital, voice, and video communication, making it suitable for both residential and commercial installations.
The cable uses a strong insulating layer with high adhesion (>40N/50mm) and a core line retreating rate over 58%, ensuring long service life and mechanical stability. Twisted pairs are 100% back-twisted, improving cable straightness and reducing crosstalk and attenuation.
The outer jacket is made of flame-retardant, halogen-free PE (FRPE). It meets strict requirements for pH value (>4.3), conductivity (<1 μS/mm), and transmittance (>90%), offering safety and low environmental impact.
Available in up to 15 colors with length markings, the cable is easy to identify during installation and maintenance.

Manufacturing Process
- Wire drawing – Copper is processed to 24 AWG thickness
- Core stranding – Conductors are twisted into pairs to minimize crosstalk
- Insulation – Each pair is insulated with polyethylene (PE)
- LSZH jacket – A low-smoke, halogen-free outer layer is applied
- Color coding – Pairs and jacket are color-marked; lengths are printed for easy identification
- Quality control – Electrical, mechanical, and flame-retardant tests are carried out
