It has an optical refractive effect. It is a good piezoelectric conversion material. As an electro-optical material in optical communication, it is widely used in parametric oscillators, double frequency, acoustic and optical devices, and optical modulators. The doping of MgO can effectively improve the damage resistance valve value of the crystal.
