Periodically Poled KTP (PPKTP) is a new type of non-linear material derived from Potassium titanyl phosphate (KTiOPO4, KTP). Stanford Optics has rich experience in manufacturing and supplying high-quality Optical Products.
Periodically Poled KTP (PPKTP) is a new type of crystal made from KTP. KTP is a nonlinear optical crystal famous for its high nonlinear coefficient and used in second harmonic generation (SHG) and difference frequency generation (DFG). PPKTP can cover all applications for KTP within KTP’s transparency range. But PPKTP is specially processed to have a periodically patterned distribution of polarity inversion domains which lets PPKTP have a larger nonlinear coefficient than general KTP. Also, PPKTP doesn’t have the phase matching limitation for KTP.
