Central Tube Type Non-armored Optical Cable is a high-performance solution designed for outdoor applications requiring reliable water resistance, mechanical stability, and lightweight construction. Colored optical fibers are securely housed in a loose tube made of high-modulus, hydrolysis-resistant material, which is filled with thixotropic water-blocking gel for superior fiber protection.
To enhance water resistance, the loose tube is externally coated with water-blocking material, ensuring robust longitudinal water-blocking performance. Two parallel steel wires are positioned on both sides to provide tensile strength and structural stability. The cable is finished with a polyethylene sheath, offering excellent protection against environmental factors.
Cross-section Diagram
Hydrolysis-Resistant Tube: High-modulus material withstands pressure and chemical exposure
Dual-Layer Water Blocking: Internal gel + external coating prevent moisture ingress
Steel Wire Reinforcement: Parallel wires provide 1500N tensile strength
UV-Resistant Sheath: PE layer protects against solar radiation degradation
Compact Design: Optimized for duct pulling and long-distance deployments
GYXY Central Tube Type Non-armored Optical Cable is an excellent choice for duct installations, humid environments, and suburban or rural communication networks. Its lightweight, water-resistant design makes it suitable for a wide range of outdoor applications with moderate environmental demands.
Duct Installations: Compact size facilitates efficient conduit deployments
High-Humidity Zones: Dual water-blocking ensures reliability in wetlands/coastal areas
Suburban Networks: Cost-effective solution for residential backbone lines
Temporary Deployments: Lightweight construction enables rapid field installations
Industrial Utility Links: Steel reinforcement resists moderate mechanical stress
Renewable Energy Farms: UV-resistant sheath suits solar/wind installations
