Description
CB6332 GYFTY is a non-armored, loose-tube stranded optical cable for outdoor communication networks. Optical fibers are housed in gel-filled loose tubes, which are stranded with filler elements around a non-metallic FRP central strength member. A polyethylene outer jacket completes the cable structure.
The FRP member provides mechanical reinforcement, while filling compounds in the tubes and cable core help limit longitudinal water penetration. GYFTY is intended for duct and aerial installations. Select the fiber count, fiber type, and mechanical rating to suit the route, pulling conditions, and support method.
