Description
The GYFTZY optical cable is a non-armored, loose-tube stranded optical cable with a non-metallic FRP central strength member and a flame-retardant outer sheath. Optical fibers are housed in gel-filled loose tubes, which are stranded around the central strength member together with filler elements.
The FRP member provides mechanical support, while the filling compounds help limit water penetration within the cable. GYFTZY is offered for duct and aerial installations. The required fiber count, fiber type, mechanical rating, and flame-retardant classification should be confirmed for the selected configuration before ordering.
